Caleb Good News Ministries is
a Christ-centered charitable non-profit organization. We are located in
Seattle, Washington. Every month donations from many sources and shipped directly to villages, orphanages
and hospitals in Romania and other 3rd world countries. Warm
clothing and shoes, nutritional supplements to the malnourished, non-perishable
foods and groceries, medicines (over the counter and prescription drugs) health
care supplies, toys, household supplies, blankets and sleeping bags, household
goods, tools and refurbished computers are given freely to the many peasants,
villagers, elderly, orphans, street children, homeless adults and schools in
both Moldova and Romania.
We are comprised
entirely of 100% volunteers
from
many differing denominations and churches, mostly low or middle income,
many retirees and physically challenged people, all who desire first
and foremost to Serve Jesus!
Started in 1990, the candy packs included crayons, coloring sheets of
Bible stories, a John 316 poster suitable for coloring in the native
language, small toys, four or five crayons, a whistle or balloon, and
for five pieces of candy along with a statement of faith. Packaged in a
zip lock bag, and candy packs have been handed out by the thousands to
children in Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Hungary, Nigeria, India, Nepal,
China, Philippines, Vietnam, Beleze, Guatemala and Eskimo tribes in
Alaska. Candy packs now include beaded necklaces and bracelets, wooden
toys all made by volunteers.

Several types of
fund raising is conducted by the supporting churches as well as the
Caleb volunteers. All of the money raised beyond expenses for each
event is used entirely for work in the field.
